Do you have a bold idea with big impact in the

about areas of health-related water and sanitation? If so, you may be eligible to apply for the next round of the Stars in Global Health program at Grand Challenges Canada.

In this program, applicants apply for proof-of-concept grants of $100,000 with a 12-18 month timeframe. If the concept is proven to be feasible, grantees can apply for additional scale-up grants of up to $1 million with potential linkages to private sector investments. Applications are 2 pages with a 2-minute video.

Ken Simiyu (Program Officer) and I, Raymond Shih (Strategy & Operations Manager) will be representing Grand Challenges Canada at the WASH Canada Campaign Launch on November 15, 2012 in Toronto. We are looking forward to engaging with you there about this and other exciting developments. Feel free to connect with us via Twitter (@kenssimiyu @rvshih @gchallenges) or email ().
